The Mineral Springs Mall was originally opened in 1914 and boasted the healing properties of it's springs as well as the biggest swimming pool in Illinois. Aside from the building being as large as a city block it also has a dark side having activity in the pool area, second and third floors, as well as other locations. It's also said that Al Capone may have frequently been a guest as he had a secret hideout in the area.
